Every set of ramekins I looked were sets of 4. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box and found exactly one ramekin in the box. Yes, I guess I should have read more carefully, but really, seriously? - 1 ramekin? Never make assumptions. The ramekin itself is nice, I just need to order a few more or return this one, and get a set that is more reasonably priced.

I just received 4 of this item yesterday, so I haven't had a chance to use them yet. They were difficult to get out of the wad of bubblewrap, but they were well-packaged and arrived undamaged. I don't care for the color; their "antiqued gold finish" reminds me more of a baby's diaper. But I didn't buy them for their beauty, but for their functionality and size. Also the price; they were over $5 cheaper than the same product in ivory or sage. However, apparently the manufacturer hates consumers. They have designed these ramekins so they are unable to be stacked in storage, unlike many other similar products. And they put big round stickers, nearly as big as the surface area, in the interior bottoms of these bowls with high straight sides. I spent over 30 minutes with a razor blade scraper (which nearly broke, due to the awkward angle), and my WD-40 spray, trying to get these clean and ready for use. There were also small square stickers on the exterior bottoms which had to be removed, as well. By the time I was done, I was cursing the manufacturer. I plan never to buy any merchandise from this company again.
