Just got these delivered. It was very well packed. I really like the unique oblong shape and bright color... different from the usual round, white ramekins. I just made creme br�lée but after filling 6 ramekins, still had a lot of leftover batter. Turns out the ramekin is NOT 5 ounce as description says. I checked and it doesn't even hold 4 fluid ounce. I'll have to get a bigger size set next time.

Well, there really aren't that many specs you can talk about when it comes to a Creme Brule dish. We ordered the set of six just before Thanksgiving because my wife wanted to make a Pumpkin Maple creme brule in place of a pumpkin pie (she is celiac and cannot eat anything that contains wheat). We did a test run with some small pyrex (glass) bowls and it came out alright, but didn't set perfectly because it was too deep. So we decided to go "full monte" and get these dishes. They work perfectly, and the dessert came out awesome. This is, of course, due to my wife and her awesome cooking skills. But it wouldn't have turned out perfect without these dishes.The seller sent them quickly, they were packed well, and they were the exact color you see in the photo. I would recommend these (in whichever color floats your creme brule) to anyone and everyone who wants an awesome dessert.
