Expensive at half the price. "Corning Ware" is a glass laminate product. These "corning ware" Ramekins were fabricated of porcelain and were not the laminated glass Corning Ware product. Unfortunately, Corning Glass sold their product name to a less than honest manufacturer, who slapped the name on their inferior (to laminated glass) product.

I use these for so many things - small dishes of ice cream, making small tortes from extra pie-crust cuttings, chip dip, etc. They are just so versatile and I love the clean, uncomplicated look of them.
